Conspiracy: Bringing Hell to God's Land

Val Kilmer ("Spooky" McPherson) an Iraqi war veteran goes out too AriZOna(OZ) to find an old war buddy Miguel, and ends up making all kinds of trouble when people won’t help him find his friend.

Miguel's favorite book Watership Down-

Watership Down has been described as an allegory, with the labours of Hazel, Fiver, Bigwig, and Silver "mirror[ing] the timeless struggles between tyranny and freedom, reason and blind emotion, and the individual and the corporate state."[10] Adams draws on classical heroic and quest themes from Homer and Virgil, creating a story with epic motifs.[11] Additionally, some scholars have perceived a strong misogynic element.

The hero, The Odyssey, and The Aeneid

The book explores the themes of exile, survival, heroism, political responsibility, and the "making of a hero and a community".[13] Joan Bridgman's analysis of Adams's work's in The Contemporary Review identifies the community and hero motifs: "[T]he hero's journey into a realm of terrors to bring back some boon to save himself and his people" is a powerful element in Adams's tale. This theme derives from the author's exposure to the works of mythology academic Joseph Campbell, especially his study of comparative mythology, The Hero with a Thousand Faces (1949). The theory of Campbell's monomyth, also based on Carl Jung's view of the unconscious mind, made Adams realise that "all the stories in the world are really one story."

Corruption-

This movie has a lot of political undertones which build the story. The entire town and a nearby plant is owned by Halicorp, which seems to play off Halliburton. It's just a bunch of cowboys( i.e Bush, Cheney) with hats and guns who are friends with presidents. The movie is a good summary of war profiting, arms trade, border control, industrial and weapon manufacturing, and exploiting the poor for financial gain as Hali-corp also represents the current structure of business. It's the ultimate conspiracy of the Nwo in the microcosim one mans life.

Zodiac/Eye-

Plot-

The movie starts out involving some soldiers in Iraq on a mission. During there patrol afterwards they come across a little girl who has been booby trapped with a ticking time bomb and are caught in the explosion. The movie then jumps to present day where Val Kilmer’s character is constantly having flashbacks from his war experiences. One day, he decides to go meet up with a friend from the military, and this leads him out to the Mexican border to a town called New Hope, Arizona. It’s a new town built to look like something from the wild west, but has some modern amenities.

Hali-corp/Burton- "Keeping America Safe Home and Abroad"

CEO John Rhodes-

Karley's Korner/Koka-Kola-

Immediately upon Kilmer’s arrival, he is treated like a nomad when he went around trying to find out what happened to his war buddy. The local law wants to run him off, and people won’t even do business with him. Kilmer continues to push his luck until one of the local deputies picks a fight with him, then things get messy and the war is on between Kilmer and Hali-corp. John Rhodes takes many attempts to McPherson's life but in return Rhodes ends up being killed.

Hali-corp CEO-

After Rhodes is stabbed through the heart Kilmer is not arrested and free and flashes forward in time where everyone is outside planting after getting good news from the Phoenix(Reborn) newspaper.

I actually highlighted the Hal in Hali-corp its just hard to see.nice semantics with the Hope and down. Phoenix is also known as the Valley.

dymaxion? link?

suggestions are always good though.

A few semantic memes caught my landscape -
HALI - layering in HAL as corporate brain [ dialled on 1 letter it = IBM], and then Scientific corporatism we get the HALO as the Hadron Collider has been named. Then of course corporate corpoRATism with HALI-burton.

The corporate politricking comes along with HOPE - HOPE is an old English word meaning 'valley', which seems to describe the war and the finance miasma. So semantically get everyone to cry'hope' and further dig themselves in. a DOWN is a name for a hillside

Perhaps a development can be 'collections' of snapshots, as some = excellent, from that a small moviette could come forth with a soundtrack. Also many take similar snapshots from the same films - interesting to watch clusters of themes.
Finally maybe a map [ Dymaxion = my fave] showing locations of synchronauts.
None of these I know how to create, so apologies for having ideas that would require others work

Cheers
